Taylor to speak at C.W.P.A. meeting

Diana Taylor, chairperson of the Hudson River Park Trust’s board of directors, will speak at the Chelsea Waterside Park Association’s annual meeting on Wed., March 19, starting at 6 p.m., at the German Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Paul, 315 W. 22nd St., off of Eighth Ave.

While the redevelopment of Pier 40, at W. Houston St., is currently one of the most pressing concerns in the 5-mile-long waterfront park, Chelsea activists aren’t interested in that issue.

“I certainly hope she won’t talk about Pier 40. We don’t want to hear about it,” said Bob Trentlyon, the association’s president.
