Has Pale Male left the Upper East Side for Chelsea?

A hawk was spotted hunting a squirrel outside 426 W. 27th St. at 3 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. A small crowd of Chelsea Park-goers, Hudson Guild staff and neighborhood residents stopped to marvel at the scene and question the hawk’s hunting abilities, since the squirrel reportedly got away and is presumed to be alive.
