The best playdates are the tastiest
At a book-launch party for “Kitchen Playdates,” by Lauren Bank Deen, at Chelsea Market last Thursday, kids and parents indulged in fun activities like decorating cupcakes with yummy icing and edible sprinkles and sparkles. The book, which offers parents ideas for staying entertained with kids, contains recipes for some rather sophisticated dishes, along with activities and playdate ideas.
