Guild reaches milestone

On Tuesday, Hudson Guild unveiled the much-anticipated community walk at its Community Works center, marking one of the final steps in the Guild’s three-year capital campaign. Commemorative bricks with names etched in them, on the walkway leading up to the John Lovejoy Elliott Center on 26th Street between Ninth and Tenth Avenues, were purchased through donations of $300 to $1,000. The funds helped finance the center’s renovation, which was completed in May 2005. Bricks may still be purchased by businesses, organizations, individuals and in honor of someone else, living or deceased, by calling the external relations department of Hudson Guild Community Works at 212-760-9812.
